Watershed Management

This includes investigations, planning and design for both water quantity and quality.  Water quantity is the focus of hydrologic analyses, drainage system design, dam and flood control systems, and stream flow evaluations.  Water quality services is the focus of pollutant source investigations, nutrient and bacterial loading analyses, storm water management plans, lake and pond management plans, and best management practices for control of erosion, sediment and nutrients.  By integrating our broad expertise and state-of-the-art GIS tools we can effectively mitigate impaired waters, address TMDL requirements and protect drinking water sources.  We implement on-the-ground improvements for point and non-point source control projects using our design build capability.

Wetlands Assessments, Evaluations & Design

Our ecologists and soil scientists deliver a precise synthesis of highly technical environmental services.  We have conducted inland and coastal wetland and watercourse delineations, vegetation surveys, assessment of wetland and upland ecological conditions, design and evaluation of constructed wetlands, identification and evaluation of sensitive ecological species and communities, and bioassessment of streams.  We also guide our clients through the permit process ensuring compliance with local, State, and Federal permits potentially affecting wetlands, watercourses and ecological systems.

Design/Build

Fuss and O'Neill Design Build Services, LLC functions as a designer-led group that provides clients with a dedicated source for turnkey services. 

The staff comprises construction and engineering professionals with the experience and understanding necessary to bring a turnkey project from concept to completion.
Successfully completed projects include dam repairs and construction, stormwater quality improvements, hazardous waste and petroleum remediation and complete facility build-outs.  Some benefits derived from our Design/Build approach include:  we are focused on working as owners' representatives, we will efficiently coordinate program development, design and construction services and our fast-track approach can satisfy tight time and regulatory requirements.
